The ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or Computer Science and 2+ years of experience in a data analytics role
  • Consistent track record in using quantitative analysis to drive product and/or business decisions
  • The ability to create meaningful reports from data and formulate ideas and solutions to increase performance

Daily responsibilities:

Web Data Analysis

  • Use web analysis tools across mediums (web performance = Matomo, Google Analytics, Google Search Console / SEO = Ahrefs / email marketing = Marketo / SEM = AdWords / social advertising = Facebook Business Manager / organic social = Hootsuite) to extract and analyze data generated by online user activity
  • Create reporting dashboards that showcase website and webpage performance at a macro and micro level
  • Perform regular competitive research analysis for all campaigns
  • Report your findings with data visualizations that are easy to understand
  • Suggest actionable solutions to increase performance and user experience
  • Configure and troubleshoot Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager accounts for clients
  • Configure custom reports in Google Data Studio
  • Review existing accounts and implement advanced tagging & tracking mechanisms to improve our ability to analyze performance and implement solutions
  • Understand the behavior and expectations of online visitors
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in online marketing, data security

Web / Systems Analysis

  • Writing business requirements for technical, web-based applications
  • Developing system design solutions and presenting to client teams
  • Managing multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget
  • Maintaining Gantt charts for tracking project status
  • Updating the client with regular status reports to maintain expectations

Proven work experience as a web analyst and experience in the following applications would be ideal:

  • Matomo, Sitecore Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Search Console (cookieless tracking a bonus!)
  • Ahrefs, SEMRush or similar
  • Marketo
  • Google Ads, Bing Ads
  • Facebook Business Manager
  • Hootsuite
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Google Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets
  • TeamGantt or project tracking equivalent
